Get More Traffic by Being Unique

How do I get more traffic to my web site? This may be the question you hear everyone ask. So does everyone have a good answer?

Getting more traffic is becoming an Internet Marketer's Art. You have so many different ways to generate traffic, but how do you make yourself stand out?

You start by making sure you know your own products, services or niche. Research what sites in your field makes the top 3 or 4 search engine positions. It is a great thing to shop competition. It helps you see what is working and what is not. In all marketing and traffic generating efforts you should know what is out there right now. When you know what someone else is using it helps you keep ahead of the game and gives you ideas to make you unique in a similar way. When using those techniques in a more outstanding way, you will in turn, generate more traffic to your website. It keeps you with what is working but gives you one up on the competition to hopefully land you above the rest.

You may have a thousand different websites selling or marketing the same product or services but only a few will stay on the top. Why? Because they have found some unique way to brand themselves the expert at their craft, field or service. If you take and look at 10 different Google ads, you will find each one in that particular field to be similar but have some small thing, be it words, logo, or gimmick that makes them stand out above the rest and therefore makes people gravitate towards that site. If you brand yourself right and make a statement, you will get more traffic to your website.

Once there however, is the kicker! You have to be sure that what ever you offer or put out there is 100% what you say it is. Now you have more traffic coming to your website, but how do you continue the flow if you aren't what you say you are? People are educating themselves these days. We are in a recession that has people now stretching every dollar to the limit and they want, without a doubt, to see a return on their investment. If you aren't what you represent, then you will cancel out what ever you used to drive traffic to your site in the first place.

So get more traffic by being unique...keep it by being honest! Reputation is everything!
