I see it all the time in network marketing. People want to build a huge business online and they turn to video marketing to see if that will help. And many are creating great videos, but they are not setting them up correctly to let the search engines rank em.
Google and other search engines are the starting point for all Internet traffic. When ever you make a new video, its your focus to setup the SEO, with the correct information. Google is a computer and it needs to be told what to do. I'm not going to spend this time talking about the content of your video, that should be something you are leading with value. But I want to give you 7 tips to help improve your Search Engine Optimization when you are video marketing.
1. Video Channel Branding
Since you are in network marketing, and you are branding "you" as the leader. It's important to do the same with your video channel. Your main keyword is going to be your name. Try and get your first and last name in your channel. Your name is going to be the first thing people will search for when they want to learn more about network marketing. 2. Choose the Correct Category
When you are uploading your videos make sure to choose the right category. When I upload all of my videos I like to use the "How to" category. If your niche is something else then choose the category that best describes your product or service.
3. Attention Grabbing Titles
The headline is most important for your video. It needs to grab the attention so people will want to click and watch your video. And always use your main keyword in your title!Let me give you a couple of examples.

4. Descriptions that Pay Off
The description below your video will be the place to allow people to get more information on what you have to offer. Try and send people to a lead capture page to get there name and email for later follow up. List your website link first before any other text. This way it shows up under the video. All the other text will only show up when you click on the "more" link.
5. Web 2.0 Tags
Today the web is all about Web 2.0 and tags are the driving force behind this. Tags are the main keywords that will help people find your video. Tags also tell the search engines what you want to be indexed for in there results. Always have your main keyword your trying to rank for and add in another 5-6 keywords that relate to the same main keyword.
6. Become Social
Now that your video is setup for SEO its time to get the word out. But instead of going to other social sites like facebook, use YouTube to spread the word. Find other videos that are similar to your niche. Then comment on that video. Make sure the comment is of high value and not spammy. Just talk about how you enjoyed their video. When you do that a link is placed back to your channel.
7. Go Viral for increased views
Video marketing is all about social proof and the more you can get people to watch your video the more your stats increase. Always place your video link in places like facebook and your own blog. When people watch your video on YouTube your stats go up. And when someone on facebook, or your blog watches your video, your stats go up. Use the power of entire Internet to let your video go viral.
