Get More Web Traffic - How to Avoid The Costly Mistake Made in the Name of Getting More Traffic - Marketing - Marketing Tips

Get more web traffic, get more web traffic, get more web traffic.

It seems in some circles it's almost become a mantra.

We've all heard of people becoming blinded by greed, blinded by passion, blinded by ambition and the list goes on, ad infintium.

But is it really such a surprise some business owners and internet marketers become blinded by the pursuit of wanting to "get more web traffic" too? It shouldn't come as such a shock when you see more than 50% of the top 5 products being promoted in the ClickBank marketplace geared toward helping people get more web traffic to their websites with some overnight quick-fix.

The costly mistake people make when seeking more web traffic as an end in and of itself is that web traffic is simply a way to measure the visits to a web site and yet those visitors aren't just numbers, they are people just like you and me.

Do you see the "disconnect" here?

What's interesting is, the small business owner and reputable internet marketer who focuses more on providing value and meeting the needs of her client even if she makes a little less on the front end because she knows creating a valuable and predictably satisfying client experience can and very likely will lead to ongoing and lasting wealth both in terms of lifetime customer value and in the impact she's able to make in the lives of those who invest with her and get her products and services.

Which would you rather have?

Meaningless volumes of numbers increasing in your website logs who just perceive your wares as another "ad" and leave after one "touch" or interaction with you or.... a satisfied client who recommends you to all their professional contacts, inner circle, friends and family, because you made a difference in her life with the value you delivered through products and services you provided for her in your given areas of expertise?

I think the answer should be obvious on more than just a personal common sense level because it actually makes better business sense too, both in the short term and long run!

Instead of just vainly pursuing more traffic after more web traffic, your efforts can be more well invested in making sure the visitors you do have come to your website get what they came for and become satisfied lifelong customers, clients and even fans who spread the "word of mouth" goodwill about your offers because you have proven to them through their experiences with you it will be a good investment of faith to do so.

Neglecting this kind of approach to your traffic systems would be a costly mistake indeed, but now you know how to avoid it!
